The Covone Agriturismo is nestled in fifty hectares of land and situated around 15km north of Perugia in the famous Tevere Valley.Over the years guests have always been treated with the warmth and spontaneity of those who entertain friends in their own home. There are abundant and varying places to find your own space if you wish, large lounges with open fireplaces lit in the winter, invite you to find enjoyment and pleasure in being together whilst the park-like grounds give you a feeling of peace and serenity, whilst dining or taking a stroll down by the river. All the rooms and ambience at “Il Covone” remain as they were centuries ago from the tranquil library to the bustling kitchen, where grandmother kneaded the bread and dished up wonderful home-made meals and delicious pasta dishes. The upstairs terrace still boasts a huge window where you have a spectacular view of all the grounds leading down to the Tiber River. The Villa, given it’s particular layout, is ideal for small meetings and business conventions, as the surroundings make it possible to both concentrate and also enjoy the pleasure of pauses in the day for relaxation. Within the “Agriturismo” just a few steps from the main Villa, there is a smaller but stunning country house, wherein lie 8 bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms, and a choice of either 2 or 3 beds. Centred around a huge fireplace is a charming lounge, full of character which makes a most congenial meeting place.
